Scream 5 Tour History and Information

Omarion (born Omari Ishmael Grandberry on November 12, 1984 in Inglewood, California) is an American R&B singer, actor, and the former lead singer of boy band B2K.

In 1999, Omarion was the last member to join teenage boy band B2K, at age 15. He was introduced to Raz-B, J-Boog and Lil' Fizz through Chris Stokes (CEO of TUG). Omarion and IMX member Marques Houston are not half brothers but are really close friends who've known each other for a long time. In fact they can be seen showing off a house they live in together on an episode of the highly popular MTV show, Cribs. Omarion is the older brother of R&B singer O'Ryan. B2K disbanded in January 2004, right after appearing in the Screen Gems film You Got Served.

In 2005, Omarion released his solo debut album, entitled O. The singles are "O" which was released in late 2004, "Touch", and "I'm Tryna". Omarion also featured on Bow Wow's #4 hit "Let Me Hold You".

On December 12, 2006, Omarion will release his sophomore album entitled 21. The album's first single is titled "Entourage". It featured Omarion's former bandmate Lil Fizz performing in the video. This single recently leaked via internet.

Omarion was in London at the time of the July 7th tube bombings. Whilst he was not near any of the stations nor did he travel on the London Underground during his stay; a press release was released on his behalf asking for people to pray for his safe return to the USA. The statement did not ask for any prayers for those that had died and was dismissed by some as not coming from Omarion. This has given rise to many online communities (such as Fark) "praying for Omarion" whenever there is a disaster or terrorist attack.
