The John Anson Ford Amphitheater is considered to be one of the oldest performing arts site in Los Angeles still in use. The John Anson Ford Theatres, located in the Hollywood Hills, are owned and controlled by the County of Los Angeles and located in a county regional park. Music, dance, film, theatre and family events are accessible in Ford Amphitheatre. The Ford Amphitheatre Season is a plan of the Los Angeles County Arts Commission. In 2000, a 1.6 million dollars renewal of the entryway to the theatres was started.
