Ron White Pacific Amphitheater History, Facts and Information
For the last 3 & a 1/2 years, Ron White has performed with some of comedy’s greats like Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall & Larry, The Cable Guy, on "The Blue Collar Comedy Tour".
Born on Dec.18th, 1956, Ron White is a satirist & a stand-up comedian from Fritch, Texas. Ron White an original members of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, which elevated Ron’s comedy career to star status following the release of the Blue Collar tour & DVD.
In January/2000 -to- March/2003, White performed with Jeff Foxworthy (comedian), Larry The Cable Guy (comedian) & Bill Engvall (comedian) on “The Blue Collar Comedy Tour,” a show that played to sold out audiences all over (90 cities) & grossed well over $15 million. The “Blue Collar Comedy Tour” by Warner Bros. was released in theaters on March/2003. The DVD was released later in June/2003 witch sold more than 1.5 million copies.
Ron, known for drinking scotch & puffing on a cigar during his shows, though it has been said that the "scotch" may be apple juice. Ron is currently working on a comedy special for the WB network to air in May/2005. White will continue headlining in theaters with his “Drunk in Public” from cost to cost.
On Nov. 11th, 2003, Ron made his solo comedy CD debut & released titled “Drunk in Public”. The CD showcases the insightful and hilarious Ron White, who manages to be razor sharp & blunt. The comedy CD has been in the top 4 on the Billboard Comedy Charts since Feb. of 2004, and has sold over 300,000 units.
