Phish Concert News:
Legendary jam band favorites Phish have revealed plans for a summer tour. The Vermont-based band will perform at the Comcast Center in Mansfield on June 6. Tickets for the show will go on sale at the end of the month. So far, the band have revealed ten tour dates, beginning with a two night stand at Jones Beach in Wantagh, New York on June 4 and 5 and wrapping up at Alpine Valley in East Troy, Wisconsin on June 20 and 21. Rumors regarding a two night stand at the famed Bonnaroo festival continue to swirl and with a gap between June 10 and June 15 in their current schedule, it seems very likely that the band will play some dates at the festival, which is set for June 11 through June 14.
Phish will kick off the reunion with three sold out shows at the Hampton Coliseum in Virginia from March 6 to 8. The shows will mark their first together since the band went on hiatus after their renowned farewell festival in Coventry , Vermont in 2004. With eleven studio albums over a 20-year career that began in 1983 at the University of Vermont , Phish gained a cult following similar to that of the Grateful Dead and has been hailed as one of the greatest bands of the nineties.
