Phish Concert News:
The new year will not only be about change…it'll apparently be about reuniting. So far we've already learned about reunion tours for Fleetwood Mac and the Grateful Dead. Now we can add Phish to that growing list.
Although the group split (or took an extended hiatus) back in 2004, the band's four members will be collaborating once again for eight engagements later this summer. After a three-day stint in March, Phish will resume their tour starting June 4 in New York . (Tickets go on sale January 30th.)
The appearances follow a special release on March 3rd. On that day, fans can purchase a seven-DVD set of the band's 1996 Clifford Ball concert through their Dry Goods store.
Phish, fronted by Princeton-raised Trey Anastasio, formed at the University of Vermont in Burlington in 1983, and became massively popular in the early '90s. The group broke up temporarily from late 2000 to 2002, but the 2004 split looked like it might be permanent.
"This is not like the hiatus, which was our last attempt to revitalize ourselves," Anastasio wrote on the band's website, at the time. "We're done."
Here are the upcoming dates for Phish:
March 6-8: Hampton , VA
June 4-5: Wantagh , NY
June 6: Mansfield , MA
June 7: Camden , NJ
June 9: Asheville , NC
June 16: St. Louis , MO

Phish Fox Theatre St. Louis, Missouri Venue Information:
The Fox Theatre is one of the most famous theaters in St. Louis , Missouri . "The Fabulous Fox" or "The Fox", as locals call it, is located in the arts district of the Grand Center area in Midtown St. Louis, one block north of Saint Louis University .
It was designed in the 1920s by an architect specializing in theaters, C. Howard Crane, in a style known as Siamese Byzantine. Reporters in 1929 described the Fox Theatres in St. Louis and Detroit as "awe-inspiringly fashioned after Hindoo (sic) Mosques of Old India, bewildering in their richness and dazzling in their appointments … striking a note that reverberates around the architectural and theatrical worlds. William Fox nicknamed the style the "Eve Leo Style" in tribute to his wife, who decorated the interior with furnishings, paintings and sculpture she had bought on her trips overseas.
